The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
